For our 4 year anniversary I wanted to do something fun and unique. I randomly found this place
DIRTY GROUT
Sunday, December 11, 2016
After buying our first house I wanted to clean every square inch of it before settling in. The first place I started cleaning was our master bathroom. I always heard that everything sticks to grout and its one of the dirtiest areas in your bathroom. I wan'st about to skip this task. Some people have colored grout, which you cannot wash because its colored gray from the beginning. This was not the case for us. The way you can tell is if you see cleaner grout in low traffic areas. Bingo! Our grout was not naturally this yucky brown. This is what our grout looked like before.
Essential Oils
My sister in law Laura first told me about essential oils and i'm glad she did. I started using essential oils a few years back and I absolutely love them. You can use them for minor ailments, laundry, and

Lavender Macarons
While scrolling through Instagram one day I came across lavender macarons. I love lavender, and if I could I would have a lavender field in my backyard. I was curious to see how they tasted and if
Propagating Mums
After buying a house, all I wanted to do is fill it with pretty things and plant a lot of beautiful plants. The problem with that was, I didn't have an unlimited budget. Money doesn't grow on trees! My adventure into propagation started with buying a few gardening books from the local Goodwill. My husband also stopped by a garage sale on the way home and bought some landscaping books. I tried to read through them all but knowing me, I skimmed through them quickly and searched for all the photos. Even though I didn't read every one of those books, I did read some and I learned a lot. The key to having a beautifully landscaped yard is not only hard work but also knowledge! The more you know about your plants, the better your plants will look and the longer they will survive.
Wall Quote

In the morning when I rise give me Jesus
When you buy your first home you get a lot of new empty walls. You end up having so much space, you don't know what to fill it with. I made this DIY to fill the space in my kitchen nook where I spent most of my time. It was a daily reminder to always start my day with Jesus. I chose this quote from a song by Jeremy Camp but you can choose your favorite bible verse or something that will encourage you daily.
Flower Preserving
When Robert and I were dating, he gave me a flower or bouquet of flowers every time he picked me up from my house. I saved a lot those flowers and dried them, but I didn't know much about preserving them. They sat around in an open paper bag for a long time, until I framed them. I wanted to find a way to display them because they meant a lot to me. While at Ikea I saw a frame and knew it would be perfect to frame my flowers.
Hydrangea Wreath
Ecclesiastes 3:11
He has made everything beautiful in its time.
At my house in Seattle I have a gorgeous hydrangea plant. The colors of the flowers are constantly
